From the 40′s themed engagement shoot we did http://www.shireenlouw.com/?p=1241, that was absolutely Gorgeous, to their wedding day…everything could just have had a stamp of MADE IN HEAVEN on it.

Gerhard & Nadia is the two nicest people you will ever get the chance to meet, and they are absolutely, crazy in love with each other which is great to witness

Nadia & Gerhard used the One & Only Hotel to prepare for their beach ceremony which was heartfelt and emotional, and later returned to the Hotel for their absolutely stunning reception.

But…before i start writing a book about how awesome this wedding was….take a look for yourself;-)

They have such a great ease about them, that just makes you feel like you have known them for years.

I loved every little bit of this wedding, from the moment i walked in where Jeanne was getting ready (looking absolutely radiant)  and about 10 SUPER SIZE redbull cans were on standby, to the decor and the venue, right down to the absolutely gorgeous weather we had (apart from a few gushes of wind) it was an absolutely STUNNING DAY to get married!

I simply loved every second of this wedding and i wish the two of them the very best!

Their wedding  day was laced with romance, and love poured out of every detail and embrace.

I had a super day with them! – It was magical, getting to witness them promising a lifetime together under a olive tree orchid at the beautiful Rusticana Country Lodge.

I was a beautiful day and I was really honored to be part of it, capturing their love!

Chantelle & Ben met in London, and most of their friends and family flew in from the UK and even as from the Far East to join their special day!

Chantelle looked absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations, the yellow and white decor absolutely contributed to the happiness and joy of the day, and Ben looked like he was in 7th heaven to be marrying his best friend and soul mate!

When i heard they are planning a “first look” (where the bride & groom see each other before the ceremony), i was super excited since this is normally a moment that is reserved for the ceremony.

We proceeded with the first look – which was so adorable as when Mustaque turned around to see Heidi walking towards him, he could not stop smiling! ~ Look out for the “first look” series

After the first look, we proceeded with the Couple Photo’s, which was followed with the Ceremony & Reception at the Lord Charles Hotel.

And how blessed were we…with one of the most gloriously beautiful days Cape Town has seen.

We had so much fun, and caused quite a stir with the locals on the beach (which just added to the energy of the day)

This was just as much fun as it looks!

I knew Leah was going to look breathtaking, but nothing could have prepared me for the vision this woman turned into on her wedding day!

Both of them just beamed ♥ and happiness and it was an ABSOLUTE JOY and PLEASURE to be part of their special day!

I must admit, I got a little emotional while editing these photo’s since I knew that the photo’s were going to be special, but this just gave me an OVERDOSE of PRETTY!!

Leah & Nathan, you guys are absolute rockstars and I wish you both all the very very best!!

The love between them are almost tangible!

I absolutely loved being part of their day!

Tanya looked absolutely gorgous and Rikus was one handsome groom!  The weather was PERFECT!

It is rare for me to get emotional on a wedding (mostly because i am too concerned about the next shot, or planning the next angle), but when Tanya walked down the isle to Robert Carlisle ~ Butterfly kisses, the way she looked, and the the way Rikus looked at her (it was a big moment) and it was just magical,  (i could not help getting a little bitty frog stuck in my throat.

Little did i know that this little bitty frog will make his appearance again at the reception, 1st when Tanya’s bridesmaid read a love letter written by Rikus to Tanya when they were still in high school (HOW special is that). ~ and i could not stop the tears when Tanya decided to make a speech about her love for her best friend that became her husband, it was special, heartfelt and absolutely packed with love that cannot help to overflow ♥

Tanya & Rikus! Enjoy your Honeymoon in Bali! I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
